What gave you the idea for MOM AND ME?

MOM AND ME: A Mother's Read-along Guide to Child Safety.” I was given
this book in a vision from God to write a safety book for parents to share safety with
  their children.

Where do you get your ideas?

The ideas are based on the same safety talks I had with my two daughters when they were very young.

What are the topics are some of your books?

My book covers safety in the home and outside the home. Topics like, letting a grown up answer the door, don't play with matches, stay away from any guns in the house, walking in groups to school, and no talking to strangers..

When was it published?

My book was published September 4, 2009.

When you do school visits, what question do children ask you most?

The children point at the pictures on my safety mom jumpsuit. These are the same pictures that are in the book.

What do you most want the students to get out of your school visits.

I want the students to practice safety in their home as well as away from home.
I hope to keep a child from getting burned on the stove. Opening the door to strangers, knowing when to dial 911, staying away from strangers cars and away from guns. To let them know their parents love them and want to keep them safe.

Has anyone ever written you a fan letter that you'd like to share?

I received a note from a third grader, who wrote, "When I grow up and get
married and have kids, I will read this book to them."”

Do you write every day and do you have set hours that you work?

No, I do not write everyday but when I write I like writing at night when everyone
 is sleep.

When is your next book going to be in book stores?

I am working on a new book. I hope to have it finished within a few months.
